The need to adapt to changing times, embrace new technologies and be in line with the energy transition happening around the world represents a great opportunity.”
He said he would work to develop the country’s natural gas economy and increase the share of natural gas in the country’s primary energy mix to 15 percent by 2030 from the current 6.2 percent.

Thursday’s hike is the 37th hike in petrol prices since May 4, when state-owned oil companies ended an 18-day hiatus in rate revisions that saw them run through parliamentary elections in states like West Bengal.
