One of the hardest books I’ve ever read – I’m overwhelmed with ideas – so here’s my general opinion: if you want to understand the basic concepts of economic policy and have a smart perspective. This book is for you. You are her. It’s very scary how Adam Smith predicts so many conditions, and sadly how little things turn out for the rich and the poor. I would argue that if you read this book and Das Kapital you will be able to endure it. If you want to understand the basic concepts of economic policy and get a real genius perspective.
