CANBERRA, – The list of countries on the Australian continent consists of six states and two territories.

1. New South Wales (NSW)

4. South Australia (SA)
Next on the list of Australian continent countries is South Australia with the capital city in Adelaide which is famous for its Barossa Valley wineries, Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo Island.
In South Australia there are many arts events, so the state is nicknamed Festival State with more than 500 events and festivals held every year.
5. Tasmania (TAS)
Tasmania is an island state, separated from mainland Australia by the Bass Strait.
The capital city of Tasmania is Hobart. The state is known for its landscapes and wilderness suitable for hikers.
Tasmania also has beaches, rocky mountains and rivers with winding canyons.
6. Victory (VIC)
