Francesco Bagnaia won the 2022 Dutch MotoGP. This race was marked by two crashes by Fabio Quartararo at the same corner.

The eleventh series of the 2022 MotoGP will take place at the Assen Circuit, Sunday (26/6/2022) night WIB. Bagnaia started the race in pole position.

Bagnaia darted early in the lap. Aleix Espargaro poked from fifth to second, just ahead of Fabio Quartararo.

CRASH! Quartaro fell when the race had only been running for three laps. El Diablo’s motorbike hit Espargaro while turning at Turn 5. Both riders were able to get up to continue the race.

Marco Bezzecchi moved up to second following the Quartararo-Espargaro incident. Jorge Martin was right behind him.

Turn 5 again took its toll on the sixth lap. This time it was Franco Morbidelli’s turn to fall.

Darry Binder crashed at Turn 8 on the eighth lap. Yellow flag fluttering.

QUARTARARO DNF! Quartararo fell again at Turn 5 entering the 12th lap. The French rider bounced off his motorbike after turning and could not continue the race. This will be the first FQ20 DNF in MotoGP 2022.

Aleix Espargaro, who had been scattered after colliding with Quartararo, re-entered the top 10. The Aprilia rider rose to seventh position entering the 15th lap.

Maverick Vinales pushed into third position after a fierce duel with Jack Miller.

Francesco Bagnaia successfully finished in first place at the 2022 Dutch MotoGP. Marco Bezzecchi was second, while the third podium was filled by Vinales.

This is Bagnaia’s third win at the 2022 MotoGP. The Italian rider previously won the first podium in the Spanish MotoGP and Italian MotoGP.
